Bring your insurance card, your current glasses, and your list of questions — we'll take care of the rest.
Plan for about two hours
Please plan to be in our office two hours for your initial appointment. This allows time for a comprehensive history, exam, and any testing that may be required. An initial appointment with a specialist may take longer than two hours.
What to bring
- Insurance card(s) and photo identification
- Co-pay if one is required by your insurance
- Insurance referral if needed
- A translator or interpreter if needed
- Prescription glasses if you wear them
- Complete medication list
Insurance
Eye Consultants of Syracuse accepts most major medical plans, including Medicare. (Vision plans aren't accepted directly, but we can provide an itemized receipt to submit to your vision carrier.) Cancellation policy
If a health issue or emergency keeps you from your appointment, please call us — we work with patients on a case-by-case basis.
